Kim Kardashian appeared briefly at a Los Angeles courtroom today(19th April)  and it was announced in front of Judge Hank Goldberg, that a divorce settlement had been reached between the reality star, and her soon-to-be ex hubby Kris Humphries.

Wearing a black mini-dress with long sleeves, Kardashian remained silent, as her lawyer, Laura Wasser, told the judge that a settlement had been reached in the contentious divorce proceedings.

Under the agreement, the reality star won’t pay one dime to her to ex, and each will pay their own legal fees.

Even though Friday’s appearance was mandatory, Humphries wasn’t at the courthouse for the settlement conference.

The Brooklyn Nets forward, who also was a no show at last week’s proceedings, was reportedly worn down from the battle for an annulment (based on his claims the socialite married him under fraudulent circumstances) and focused on the upcoming NBA playoffs instead.

The divorce is still not official, and Kardashian’s lawyer will draw up the settlement docs and submit  to the judge by June 19. when  he  (Judge Hank Goldberg) is expected to sign off on the agreement once submitted.

Celebessence.com  has learned Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian have settled their year-and-a-half long divorce battle, and it looks like it will be announced in court today … this according to sources directly connected with Kris.

We reported yesterday Kris had softened his position about demanding an annulment because his case had gone South — in other words, there was no proof Kim committed fraud when she married him.

Our sources say Kris will not show up in court today.  Sources connected with the basket baller claims… he’s with his team today, gearing up for the NBA playoffs.  This is significant, because Kris was ordered to court — a judge wants him there when he gets hit with fines for not showing up last week.

Kim’s camp claims that she will show up.

As for the settlement, it’s confidential so far, but you can bet this was a divorce and definitely NOT an annulment.

To put this in perspective, the divorce battle raged on for 536 days while they were just married for 72 days.

On Wednesday, the E! star celebrated turning 34 (a day early) with family and friends at a bowling bash! Pregnant Kim Kardashian posted several Instagram shots of her sister’s party, and from the looks of things, the K’s—and the J’s—had some serious fun.

In one pic, Kourt was all smiles with Khloé  Kardashian Odom (wearing a fierce skull bandana and hot red lipstick!) and Kim by her side.

Kim shared another “Sister Act” photo of herself sandwiched between Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner coming together for their oldest sis.

A group shot of the fam showed Khloé, Kylie, Kendall, mama Kris Jenner, Kourt, Rob Kardashian and Kim (in heels!) having a “Fam bam” moment.

Finally, the glam Kardashian sisters—plus pals Brittany Gastineau and Malika Haqq—all blew “kisses to the birthday girl.”

Kourtney seemed to enjoy herself, describing a photo of herself and friends “[hitting] the lanes” as “Better than we were hitting the clubs.”

Yeah, girl. Bowling over bottles every time!

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries could settle their never-ending divorce case as early as tomorrow … TMZ reported.

The fleeting lovebirds are both ordered to appear in court tomorrow (19th April) for a settlement conference.  The big hang-up is that Kris has been fighting for an annulment based on alleged fraud, and Kim has steadfastly refused to go down that road.  She wants a clean, simple divorce.

Sources close to Kris say there are various factors that are softening his position, including:

–There’s an ironclad prenup, if the case goes to trial Kris will get NO money from Kim meanwhile, Kris has demanded $7 million from her.

– After all the depositions and legal docs flying back and forth, no evidence has surfaced showing Kim defrauded Kris — and that goes to the heart of his claim.

– Kris is about to get nailed with monetary sanctions for being a no-show at the last hearing and, in the process, he’s pissed off the judge who would be presiding over the divorce trial.

– If the case goes to trial and Kris loses, he could be in the hole for as much as a million bucks in attorney’s fees.  Sources tell us each side has already racked up $300k in lawyer’s fees, and they’ll spend another $200k if the case goes to trial.

Sources say it’s by no means a done deal that the case is going to settle tomorrow, but as another source put it, “Kris is opening his eyes a little bit, and what he sees doesn’t look good.”

Bumpin’ her way to the Emerald City? Kim Kardashian was spotted heading into a studio in Hollywood on Wednesday, April 17 wearing a form-fitting green dress and matching heels.

Expecting her first child with boyfriend Kanye West in July, the 32-year-old reality star proudly showed off her pregnancy curves in the snug maternity ensemble. Last month, Kardashian has been facing criticism from online commenters for wearing clothing deemed too tight for pregnancy. But the reality star fired back in a blog post on March 25.

“I saw some comments that the skirt is too tight for the pregnancy and that’s ridiculous!” she wrote. “For any one concerned that my clothes are too tight, I have so many pieces custom fit for my growing body! They make pregnancy Spanx which are tight. So this theory sounds ridiculous! I feel my best when I am in heels and chic clothes! Happy mommy, happy baby!“ 

Kardashian’s sister Khloe recently told E! News that the first-time mom-to-be is finally feeling comfortable with her pregnant body.

“She’s really great, I think she’s finally feeling great about her pregnancy,” Khloe, 28, said. “There’s an awkward time [when] you’re not really showing and you don’t feel like your old self. So now that her bump is alive and in full effect, she’s having fun showing it off!”

Her estranged husband Kris Humphries may not have turned up in court to attend their mandatory divorce settlement conference on Friday.

But Kim Kardashian certainly made her presence known.

The 32-year-old pregnant star was escorted out of a LA court house flanked by not one, but ten green-uniformed Los Angeles County sheriffs.

Walking directly in the middle of the group of men, the reality star made sure she had the utmost protection as she made her way to a chauffeured car.

Kim wore her most maternity-style outfit yet for the court hearing.

Gone were the low-cut tops, tight dresses and leather trousers, and instead Kim did her best to come over all demure and almost mumsy.

The reality star slipped on a green patterned jacket, which was buttoned all the way up to her neck and billowed out at the waist into a somewhat baby doll style.

Kim had worn the dress over a pair of white trousers and accessorised with demure black stilettos.

Scraping her hair back into a tight ponytail, Kim’s features looked stronger than ever and she highlighted her famous pout with lashings of red lipstick.

The usually smiling star stared straight ahead and shot some pretty serious death stares.

It appears as though Kim came out as the winner in her first round battle with estranged husband Kris.

The pro-NBA player had been intent on taking his ex-wife to the cleaners in their divorce case, but he seemingly dropped the ball after not showing up to court on Friday.

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries are scheduled to come face-to-face today for the first time since their split.

The former lovebirds are required to appear at a settlement conference at the downtown L.A. courthouse this AM.  The drill is … try and hash out a resolution to avoid a trial.

But here’s the deal … Mandatory settlement conferences are routine, but this case has as much a chance of settling as Farrah Abraham has getting admitted to a nunnery.

Sources tell us … Kris is shockingly still demanding $7 million to go away, even though he says all he wants is an annulment.  We’re told Kim not only is unwilling to give him a penny … she’s now demanding that he pay her attorney’s fees.

This case is destined for trial.

Update- Kris Humphries not in Court- 7.05am

Unless the Concorde was taken out of mothballs last night, there’s no way Kris Humphries is going to appear for a MANDATORY settlement conference with Kim Kardashian today … reorted TMZ.

Sources connected with Kris says … he was in NYC at 1 AM today, and looked “extremely upset.”  As we reported, he’s supposed to be in an L.A. court today for a settlement conference and his attendance is required.

The first flight out of JFK today is at 6:00 AM ET, arriving at 9:15 AM PT.  Here’s the problem.  The settlement conference is set for 8:30 AM PT.  Even if the flight is on time, he’d be at least 2 hours late.

TMZ claims it checked with JFK to see if flights were cancelled because of weather last night — maybe Kris could use mother nature as his excuse.  But the airport was operating, so it looks like he’s screwed.

The judge is going to be REALLY pissed off.

Meanwhile, Kim K is punctual as ever … she just rolled up to the courthouse

She’s had a somewhat difficult time of things during her pregnancy so far, including criticism over her weight gain and an emergency trip to the doctors.

But on Wednesday, Kim Kardashian looked more content than ever as she visited a friend in Beverly Hills, California.

The 32-year-old reality star looked radiant for the outing, covering up her baby bump in a flowing black mullet dress and Grecian sandals.

Kim even managed a smile as she was photographed, placing a protective hand on her stomach as she made her way to her car.

The pretty brunette finished off her outfit by wearing her hair half tied away from her face in two plaits, and sported a cardigan to ensure she didn’t get chilly.

Kim’s outing comes ahead of her appearance at the MTV Movie Awards this Sunday.

MTV is pulling the plug on “Buckwild” — canceling the reality series that was rocked just 8 days ago by the death of cast member Shain Gandee … Celebessence.com has learned.

Sources connected to the show reports that MTV decided to stop production in the middle of the second season of the show … which followed the lives of young people in a rural West Virginia town.

We’re told MTV didn’t give the cast and crew any specific reason for the cancellation. An official announcement is expected Wednesday morning.

Gandee died of carbon monoxide poisoning in his Bronco last week … when the vehicle got trapped in mud during an off-road excursion.

There were other issues since the show debuted in January — the arrests of 2 other cast members … Salwa Amin for drug possession and Michael Burford for DUI

According to our sources, 4 episodes of Season 2 were shot, but will not air — however, a special that was taped 2 months ago is expected to air.

There have not been any comment from MTV on the claims.
