‘The Bachelor’ Season Finale: And The Final Rose Goes To…
And the final rose goes to CATHERINE! Yes, the vegan who loves the beef is the “winner” of The Bachelor, season 17.
Were you surprised, rose lovers?
Catherine Giudici has won “The Bachelor” and received Sean Lowe’s final rose. Catherine is a 26-year-old graphic designer from Seattle, WA, who has impressed Sean with her traditional values all season long, even expressing her reservations about the fantasy Suite. Sean is reportedly a born-again virgin who has vowed not to have sex before marriage. Catherine previously admitted that one of the items on her bucket list was to ride an elephant in Thailand, a wish that Sean made come true in the “Bachelor” season finale.
Sean’s runner up was Lindsay Yenter, a 24-year-old substitute teacher from Fort Bragg, NC. The final rose ceremony took place near Chiang Rai, Thailand. As usual, the engagement ring was provided by jeweler Neil Lane, who flew to Thailand to help Sean choose the perfect design.
Go Catherine!!!!!! And that is the end of ‘The Bachelor‘ season 17. Cuuuuuuuuuuuut.

I am so happy that Sean picked Catherine and I think it’s because their relationship felt natural and progressed that way. She seems honest, genuine and ready to take that final step with Sean and that’s something that is rare on a reality show. I loved her reaction to Sean’s proposal and watching it again in my office at DISH made me cry all over again. Her letter to him and the way he made it such a special moment was just perfect; effectively every woman’s dream. I didn’t get to see the final rose ceremony live because I was still at work but I caught up with the show on my train ride home. Thanks to the Hopper and DISH Anywhere I can turn my iPad into a TV anytime, anywhere.
