Elton John And David Furnish Shows Off Baby Elijah and Family

Talk about a beautiful family. Elton John and David Furnish took to People and Hello! magazine in the U.K. to offer fans a glimpse at the latest addition to their growing family.

The couple posed with their new baby Elijah Joseph Daniel Furnish-John — who was born on January11, 2013 and son Zachary Jackson Levon, 2, for a totally frame-worthy family portrait.

John and Furnish also revealed that their surrogate for Elijah was the same woman as Zachary’s.

“She is a wonderful, kind and loving woman who we love like a sister,” John, 65, told Hello!. He also refers to her as “part of the family.”

The couple also said that they used the same egg donor and, as with Zachary, do not wish to find out which of them is his true biological father.

“We kept a scrapbook for Zachary with all his scans, emails with the surrogate and key moments from the surrogacy, and we are doing the same for Elijah,” Furnish, 50,explained to people. “We want the boys to understand the spirit and love that was at the heart of the process.”

“All we hope is that Zachary and Elijah are healthy and happy,” Furnish added. “They will always be able to rely on us for total love and support, and we hope they grow up to live their own lives and be who they want to be, not who we want them to be.”

“I have learned that a parent’s capacity for love is endless,” John told Hello!. “When another child is born, our depth of love just grows deeper and wider, so it was very emotional.”

John and Furnish tied the knot in 2005 after 12 years as a couple.
