Beyoncé Sings America’s National Anthem At Obama’s Second Term Inauguration

Earlier this afternoon, pop megastar Beyoncé Knowles performed America’s national anthem, “The Star-Spangled Banner,” to close out President Obama’s second inaugural ceremony.

This was Beyoncé’s first inaugural performance. At Obama’s first swearing-in ceremony in 2009, the pop diva’s predecessor Aretha Franklin performed the national anthem.

She sang the Anthem to the amazement of the multitude gathered to witness the inauguration live.
