Britney Spears And Jason Trawick Break Up

Barely 24hrs after the pop singer quit The X Factor, Britney Spears and her fiancé Jason Trawick have broken up.

Spears, 30, and manager Trawick, 40, became engaged in December 2011, after dating for two years. The pair became engaged in 2011 and there has been constant speculation their relationship has been on the rocks for several months. The couple have mutually agreed to end their one-year engagement,” her rep Jeff Raymond told People magazine.

“Britney has made it known that she wants Jason removed as co-conservator, a position he was  appointed to when Britney joined “The X Factor” so that he could be with her at all times while on set.”  However, there are court proceedings taking place Friday (January 11^th)  that will officially remove Trawick as one of Spears’ conservators.

“As two mature adults, they came to the difficult decision to go their separate ways while continuing to remain friends.” The singer also released a statement to People Magazine.

“Jason and I have decided to call off our engagement,” she wrote. “I’ll always adore him and we will remain great friends.”
