Cheryl Cole To Replace JLO On American Idol?

Former X-Factor judge, Cheryl Cole, has been approached by American Idol executives to see if she’d be interested in joining show’s judging panel either alongside Jennifer Lopez or as a replacement if JLO leaves.

According to NYPost, The singer appeared in the first few episodes of X Factor before being reportedly dumped by show owner, Simon Cowell for lacking stage presence and having thick English accent.

JLO, 42, recently said she doesn’t know if she’ll return to American Idol next season as wants to free up her schedule next year, possibly taking a little hiatus from work to be with her kids, Max and Emme, 4.

Other sources claim J-Lo is holding out for more money. She has been on the show for two seasons with one-year contracts for both with $12 million and $20 million paycheck respectively.
