Britney Spears And Demi Lovato Unveiled As New Judges On X-Factor USA

Pop star Britney Spears and Demi Lovato have been announced as judges on Season 2 of reality show X-Factor USA. The two celebrities replace Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger who were axed after poor ratings on last year’s debut series.

The judge’s seat will parade the newest additions alongside head judge Simon Cowell, and music producer L.A Reid.  No details as to how much Demi’s contract is worth, but Britney is thought to have negotiated a $15 million pay packet for the first season and hope to renegotiate afterwards.

Commenting on her experience, the Baby One More Time star said: “I am so excited about this whole experience. It’s gonna be so much fun and so different from anything I’ve ever done and I’m ready to find the true star.”
